Plastic has also had an impact on the decorative arts, as in: the Eames molded chair, swatch watch, and vintage bakelite jewelry. The variety of shapes, colors, and textures in plastics can hardly be rivaled by nature. And, in these extravagantly scaled Boffo Beads necklaces, plastic’s light weight is an important consideration in making them wearable.
